Where Grass Is Always Greener
Spring flowers are popping up and the sparkling pool water looks inviting. See anything unusual in this photo? Look a little closer.
It’s the third week in May. How is this grass so green? Look at the vibrant plantings, set off by the lush green of … synthetic turf?
Introducing Golden Vale Synthetic Turf®.
When the homeowners moved in three years ago, the strip of lawn surrounding their pool was problematic. Not only was it difficult to mow, but it was constantly being challenged by the activities of the beloved four-legged members of the family.
Seeking a solution, hardscaping was considered. They visited Stone Garden and discovered a new “green” alternative with Golden Vale Synthetic Turf®. After gaining approval from their homeowner’s association, they were connected with Chris Natale for professional installation through our Contractor Referral Network.
About a year ago, Chris and his daughter Julie formed Synthetic Turf of Wilmington. They have installed over a dozen projects including putting greens, residential yards, pet runs, playgrounds and pool surrounds.
“The sandy soil in Wilmington is not ideal for sod, so synthetic turf fills that void,” said Chris.
While not large in square footage, this job was challenging because of its donut shape. Chris tells us that a lot of time and effort was put into minimizing waste, which his customers appreciated.
“We are thrilled with the installation. They did a beautiful job. You could say it’s seamless.”
BEYOND GREEN
In addition to synthetic turf, Chris’ hardscaping company, Stone Accents of Wilmington, has been transforming outdoor spaces for the past decade. His work speaks for itself.
